The Tree layout

If you are looking for the Lasting Memories post it is here.
Hi you all :) Got to get this in today to make it for the challenge over at Let's Scrap Sketches. The sketch for the 1st half of the month was perfect for a layout for LOAD517 Day 12:

Prompt:
Ben Hur – 1959
Everything about this film was big. The budget was the largest ever at this point, the set was the largest ever produced, the wardrobe designer oversaw 100 costume fabricators, a workshop employed 200 artists to create works of art for the film. Filming was 12-14 hours a day, 6 days a week for 7 months. More than 200 camels and 2,500 horses were used in the shooting of the film, with some 10,000 extras. It was the fastest-grossing as well as the highest-grossing film of 1959, in the process becoming the second-highest-grossing film in history at the time after Gone with the Wind. It won a record 11 Academy Awards, unequalled until Titanic in 1997.
Share a layout about something that became a much bigger project than expected. The famous chariot race takes place in a stadium that is curved at each end. Use curves or swirls in your layout today.
I thought about this a bit at work and then it dawned on me the photos I just printed of Dave cutting down the Tree in the front yard. A double page layout for all the photos from this big project that Dave took on.
The sketch over at Let's Scrap:

I love the separate squares on the bottom for the title and it made it big!
The left side of the layout:
and the right side of the layout:
I used some die cuts I found, washi tape, stickers and a few pieces of paper from my current counterfeit kit: Nature's Party. Brads to attach the tags at the top. The swirls came in the form of the the 2 die cuts surrounding the journaling. total of 8 photos on the layout.
A big project for the 1st day of my husband's vacation. This is how he decided to spend his week's vacation doing things around the house.
The journaling. Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up too lately with LOAD517.
